Andrew Straughan – NCUK
Andrew Straughan started working for NCUK in 2013 as a Market Researcher and Data Analyst. In this role, support was provided to both the Marketing and Business Development functions within the organisation. Support was provided predominantly through the provision of market research and analysis. In 2015 Andrew became NCUK’s Market Development Manager for Europe, Africa and South America. Within these regions, Andrew’s main focus is to support NCUK’s study centres by working closely with the Academic, Marketing and Placement teams to satisfy recruitment and placement objectives. Andrew holds a degree in History from the University of Liverpool.

Genevieve Abela – GABS & Geeky Solutions
Genevieve Abela’s experience and background in International Education is the back drop for her work in Business Solutions, Marketing, and Events Management, for Education focused organisations. Till recently, she was known for her role with FELTOM (Federation of English Language Organisations in Malta) which she joined in 2012 as the Federation’s first Chief Executive Officer. In August 2017, Genevieve branched out on her own with GABS (Genevieve Abela Business Solutions) and Geeky Connections, where she works with clients as a consultant, brand manager, and destination manager. She currently sits as Chairperson for the Tourism Sector Committee at the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Business.

Linda Azzopardi – European College of Malta
Linda is an experienced English teacher and teacher trainer. She has trained English teachers in Malta, Russia and the Ukraine both in mainstream education and in private language school contexts. She has been with our College since 1999 as the school’s first Director of Studies. In 2014 she was tasked to set up and run Malta’s only delivery centre for NCUK’s International Foundation Year Programme. Since the beginning of the programme Linda has been the main point of contact with partners, agents and students. She has an M.A in English and Cambridge DELTA.
