There is a lot for students to see and do in Malta during their free time and this of course depends on the individuals’ interests. Clubclass offers a weekly leisure programme organised specifically for language students visiting the Maltese Islands; this includes a variety of guided tours, sporting facilities and other activities which could be booked at an extra charge.

Malta’s history boasts of an array of archaeological sites, fortified cities, megalithic temples, monuments and other places of interest. If travelling in the summer months, a dip in our crystal clear waters is a must! One can find beautiful sandy and rocky beaches both in the south and in the north of Malta. St. George’s Bay, St. Julian’s is situated within walking distance from the school.

Paceville – Malta’s main entertainment hub is only a 15 minute walk away from the school. Here one can find a wide range of recreational facilities including cinemas, a bowling alley, restaurants, bars and discotheques. Valletta – the capital city and Sliema are Malta’s major shopping sites and can be easily reached by taking a bus from the bus stop opposite the school.

  1. Gozo Scenic Tour:
Visit Malta’s sister island – the land where time has stood still. Gozo has taken development at a leisurely pace and gives visitors a glimpse of what the Islands were like half a century ago. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery and the quaint timeless lifestyle on a visit that tours the essential ‘must-see’ places.
  2. Gozo Jeep Safari:
Explore Gozo the adventurous way by jeep visiting the island’s main attractions such as the Azure Window, the Inland Sea, Victoria and the Citadel, as well as Ramla Bay (an orange coloured sandy beach). Focusing on places that are not usually visited by the traditional excursion routes and driving through countryside roads or dirt-tracks, one also gets to see the beautiful unspoilt areas of the island.
  3. Heart of Malta Tour:
Visiting the true heart of Malta. A licensed guide provides a tour of all those not-to-be-missed places of interest that really complete the Maltese experience. There is no better way of really taking a visit beyond the beaches and into the true spirit of the Islands.
  1. Comino ‘Blue Lagoon’ by Powerboat:
Experience the Blue Lagoon and the Island of Comino at an awesome pace! The only powerboat tour on the Islands that goes all the way past Mellieha Bay and the North Coast of Malta to the sound of summer hits for the thrill of a lifetime. Spend time swimming and relaxing in the ’Blue Lagoon’ when Comino is at its quietest and then enjoy a tour around the magical caves of Comino before heading towards Mellieha.
  2. Beach Trips to Golden Bay & Paradise Bay:

  3. Mdina – Silent City Tour:
The history of Mdina and its suburb Rabat is as old and as chequered as the history of Malta itself. Mdina, Malta’s medieval capital, can trace its origins beyond 4000 years of history. Mdina and Rabat are fascinating to tour for their timeless atmosphere and their cultural and religious treasures.
  4. Valletta – Capital City Tour:
The Fortress City, “a city built by gentlemen for gentlemen”. Valletta has many titles, all recalling its rich historical past. It is the “modern” city built by the Knights of St. John; a masterpiece of the Baroque; and a UNESCO World Heritage City. Nowhere in Malta is the life of the Islands reflected more than here. The grid of narrow streets house some of Europe’s finest works of art, churches and palaces.
  1. Boat Party:
Enjoy a sunset cruise to a magical bay in Malta or Comino where a sumptuous buffet dinner will be served. Then swim and party the night away aboard a 30ft wide catamaran with free-flowing wine served all night.
  2. Wine Tasting Tour:
Appreciate the unique effects of the Maltese climate and countryside. Malta’s winemaking history is one of the oldest in the Mediterranean, introduced by our earliest known inhabitants – The Phoenicians. What better way of putting it all into practice than by sampling a variety of fine local wines along with a range of delicious appetisers.
