Accreditations and Recognitions

As a result, Clubclass Language School is a fully certified member of the following leading accreditation bodies and authorities in Malta, and in the study abroad industry.  

To maintain these accreditations, we comply with strict regulations relating to our school premises and facilities, our teacher qualifications, teaching quality, administration, and welfare, all of which will reflect in the excellence of the experience that you have while studying at Clubclass. 

Clubclass English Language School is accredited by FELTOM. FELTOM (The Federation of English Language Teaching Organisations Malta) was set up in 1989, bringing all accredited English Language schools together under one national association. Its main aim is to advance the quality of English language education to international students in Malta and to promote professionalism within the industry by maintaining high standards.

The ELT (English Language Teaching) Council, is part of the Ministry of Education and its mission is to foster the ELT Profession and Industry in all its various aspects. One of the ELT’s objectives it to stimulate, promote and safeguard the ELT profession and to encourage the proficient use of the English Language on a national basis. Clubclass English Language School is licensed by the ELT Council and our teachers must reach the minimum requirements outlined by the law in order to obtain an ELT Teaching permit.

Clubclass is licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority which was formally set up by the Malta Travel and Tourism Service Act in 1999. The MTA has a varied role but mainly it is all about creating and fostering relationships. The MTA’S vision is to achieve a healthy, sustainable and equitable tourism sector for the Maltese Islands, attracting regular inflows of quality visitors throughout the year from a diverse range of source markets, whilst ensuring that those who choose our destination are served with professionalism and care.

Clubclass English Language School is accredited by ALTO. ALTO (Association of Language Travel Organisations) began in 1998 and has grown and succeeded thanks to its members and the knowledgeable leadership of its board. It is the only premium forum that joins language travel agents, schools, and national associations as one global community.

Clubclass English Language School is qualified under the Bildungsurlaub scheme. In Germany, Bildungsurlaub (study leave) is the legally recognized claim of employees on exemption from work for professional advanced training. The most popular ones chosen as Bildungsurlaub are often language trips, where you can improve your foreign language skills abroad. In 14 out of 16 federal states (except for Sachsen and Bayern) employees are entitled to a right to Bildungsurlaub.

Clubclass English Language School has demonstrated its commitment to using quality English language teaching materials by entering the Oxford Quality Programme.  By entering the Oxford Quality Programme, Clubclass will benefit from a range of quality educational services offered to them. The Oxford Quality Programme is an agreement between Oxford University Press and selected schools worldwide who share a commitment to excellence in the teaching of English.

Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It will provide numerous opportunities for individuals and organisations who want to study, train and gain experience abroad.

The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU’s strategic framework for education and training. Erasmus+ also aims to promote the sustainable development of its partners in the field of higher education, and contribute to achieving the objectives of the EU Youth Strategy.

Erasmus+ is open to many individuals and organisations, although eligibility varies from one action to another and from one country to another. Individuals can take part in many of the opportunities funded by Erasmus+, although most will have to do so through an organisation taking part in the programme. The eligibility of individuals and organisations depends on the country in which they are based.
